^41 (A)These things Isaiah said ^[a]when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

Walk in the Light

⁴² Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but ^(B)because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; ^43 (C)for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

⁴⁴ Then Jesus cried out and said, ^(D)“He who believes in Me, ^(E)believes not in Me ^(F)but in Him who sent Me. ⁴⁵ And ^(G)he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. ^46 (H)I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. ⁴⁷ And if anyone hears My words and does not ^[b]believe, ^(I)I do not judge him; for ^(J)I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. ^48 (K)He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—^(L)the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. ⁴⁹ For ^(M)I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, ^(N)what I should say and what I should speak. ⁵⁰ And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I ^(O)speak.”

⁹ Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

^10 (B)And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?”

¹¹ So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, ^(C)the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”

Jesus Cleanses the Temple^(D)

^12 (E)Then Jesus went into the temple ^[a]of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the ^(F)money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. ¹³ And He said to them, “It is written, ^(G)‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ^(H)‘den of thieves.’ ”

¹⁴ Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. ¹⁵ But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the ^(I)Son of David!” they were ^[b]indignant ¹⁶ and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?”

And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read,

¹⁷ Then He left them and ^(K)went out of the city to Bethany, and He lodged there.
