²⁸ Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”^(A)

The New Commandment

³¹ When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.^{(A) 32} If God has been glorified in him,^[a] God will also glorify him in himself and will glorify him at once.

⁴² Again he went away for the second time and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”^(A)

⁹ They sing a new song:

¹¹ Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels surrounding the throne and the living creatures and the elders; they numbered myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands,^{(C) 12} singing with full voice,

¹³ Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea and all that is in them, singing,

¹⁴ And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the elders fell down and worshiped.

⁶ I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete^[a] it until the day of Jesus Christ. ⁷ It is right for me to think this way about all of you, because I hold you in my heart,^[b] for all of you are my partners in God’s grace,^[c] both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.^{(A) 8} For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the tender affection of Christ Jesus.^{(B) 9} And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight^{(C) 10} to help you to determine what really matters, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, ¹¹ having produced the harvest^[d] of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God.

⁴⁰ Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”^{(A) 41} So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked upward and said, “Father, I thank you for having heard me.^{(B) 42} I knew that you always hear me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they may believe that you sent me.”^{(C) 43} When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” ⁴⁴ The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with strips of cloth and his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”^(D)

⁵ While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, the Beloved;^[a] with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”^(A)

¹⁷ And a voice from the heavens said, “This is my Son, the Beloved,^[a] with whom I am well pleased.”^(A)

¹⁷ For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, my Beloved,^[a] with whom I am well pleased.”^(A)
