⁷ Then after this he said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”^(A)

⁴⁰ He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing earlier, and he remained there. ⁴¹ Many came to him, and they were saying, “John performed no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true.”^{(A) 42} And many believed in him there.^(B)

²² And now, as a captive to the Spirit,^[a] I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there,^{(A) 23} except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and persecutions are waiting for me.^{(B) 24} But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace.^(C)

³⁶ After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Come, let us return and visit the brothers and sisters in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.”^(A)
