⁵ Now ^(A)Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

^19 (A)Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.

⁷ It is for discipline that you have to endure. ^(B)God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

²⁰ Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left ^(A)Trophimus, who was ill, at Miletus.
