³⁸ But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand^[a] that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”^(A)

²⁰ On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.^(A)

³⁰ The Father and I are one.”

²⁵ Jesus answered, “I have told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name testify to me,^(A)

⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?^{(A) 10} Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.^{(B) 11} Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, but if you do not, then believe^[a] because of the works themselves.^(C)

²² “Fellow Israelites,^[a] listen to what I have to say: Jesus of Nazareth,^[b] a man attested to you by God with deeds of power, wonders, and signs that God did through him among you, as you yourselves know^(A)—

²¹ that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us,^[a] so that the world may believe that you have sent me.^{(A) 22} The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one,^{(B) 23} I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

² He came to Jesus^[a] by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with that person.”^(A)

⁸ Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders,^{(A) 9} if we are being questioned today because of a good deed done to someone who was sick and are being asked how this man has been healed,^{[a] 10} let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that this man is standing before you in good health by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,^[b] whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead.^{(B) 11} This Jesus^[c] is
