³⁸ but if I do them, ^(A)even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that ^(B)the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”

^20 (A)In that day you will know that ^(B)I am in my Father, and ^(C)you in me, and ^(D)I in you.

^30 (A)I and the Father are one.”

²⁵ Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. ^(A)The works that I do ^(B)in my Father's name bear witness about me,

⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? ^(A)Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that ^(B)I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you ^(C)I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. ¹¹ Believe me that ^(D)I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else ^(E)believe on account of the works themselves.

²² “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, ^(A)a man attested to you by God ^(B)with ^(C)mighty works and wonders and signs that ^(D)God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—

^21 (A)that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ^(B)they also may be in ^(C)us, so that the world ^(D)may believe that you have sent me. ^22 (E)The glory that you have given me ^(F)I have given to them, ^(G)that they may be one even as we are one, ^23 (H)I in them and you in me, ^(I)that they may become perfectly one, ^(J)so that the world may know that you sent me and ^(K)loved them even as ^(L)you loved me.

² This man came to Jesus^{[a] (A)}by night and said to him, ^(B)“Rabbi, ^(C)we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do ^(D)unless God is with him.”

⁸ Then Peter, ^(A)filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders, ⁹ if we are being examined today ^(B)concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, ¹⁰ let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that ^(C)by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, ^(D)whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well. ^11 (E)This Jesus^[a] is the stone that was ^(F)rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.^{[b] 12} And there is ^(G)salvation ^(H)in no one else, for ^(I)there is no other ^(J)name under heaven given among men^[c] by which we must be saved.”
