³³ The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for ^(A)blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, ^(B)make Yourself God.”

¹⁸ Therefore the Jews ^(A)sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, ^(B)making Himself equal with God.

^30 (A)I and My Father are one.”

¹⁶ And whoever ^(A)blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him, the stranger as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the name of the Lord, he shall be put to death.

⁶ who, ^(A)being in the form of God, did not consider it ^[a]robbery to be equal with God,

13 Let every soul be ^(A)subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

¹⁴ “Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard him ^(A)lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
