³¹ The Jews ^(A)picked up stones again to stone Him. ³² Jesus replied to them, “I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?” ³³ The Jews answered Him, “We are not stoning You for a good work, but for ^(B)blasphemy; and because You, being a man, ^(C)make Yourself out to be God.”

²² The scribes who came down ^(A)from Jerusalem were saying, “He ^[a]is possessed by ^[b](B)Beelzebul,” and “^(C)He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.”

³⁰ because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”

⁵ After ^(A)looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, He *said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored. ⁶ The Pharisees went out and immediately began ^[a]conspiring with the ^(B)Herodians against Him, as to how they might put Him to death.

^2 (A)And they brought to Him a ^(B)paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man who was paralyzed, “^(C)Take courage, ^[a]son; ^(D)your sins are forgiven.” ³ And some of the scribes said ^[b]to themselves, “This man is ^(E)blaspheming!”

⁶⁵ Then the high priest ^(A)tore his ^[a]robes and said, “He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? See, you have now heard the blasphemy;
