²⁹ My Father, in regard to what he has given me, is greater than all,^[a] and no one can snatch them out of the Father’s hand.^(A)

³⁷ Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away,^(A)

² since you have given him authority over all people,^[a] to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.^(A)

²⁸ You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I am coming to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.^(A)

⁹ I am asking on their behalf; I am not asking on behalf of the world but on behalf of those whom you gave me, because they are yours.^(A)

⁶ “I have made your name known to those whom you gave me from the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.^(A)

¹¹ And now I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one.^(A)

¹⁴ Cursed be the cheat who has a male in the flock and vows to give it and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished, for I am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name is reverenced among the nations.^(A)
