John 10:22-26

I and the Father Are One
22 At that time the Feast of Dedication took place at Jerusalem. It was winter, 23 and Jesus was walking in the temple, (A)in the colonnade of Solomon. 24 So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are (B)the Christ, (C)tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. (D)The works that I do (E)in my Father's name bear witness about me, 26 but (F)you do not believe because you are not among my sheep.

17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”
Jesus Is Equal with God
18 This was why the Jews (A)were seeking all the more to kill him, (B)because not only was he (C)breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God (D)his own Father, (E)making himself equal with God.
The Authority of the Son
19 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, (F)the Son (G)can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father[a] does, that the Son does likewise. 20 For (H)the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And (I)greater works than these will he show him, so that (J)you may marvel. 21 For as the Father (K)raises the dead and (L)gives them life, so (M)also the Son gives life (N)to whom he will. 22 (O)For the Father judges no one, but (P)has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they (Q)honor the Father. (R)Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, (S)whoever hears my word and (T)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He (U)does not come into judgment, but (V)has passed from death to life.
25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, (W)an hour is coming, and is now here, when (X)the dead will hear (Y)the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear (Z)will live. 26 (AA)For as the Father has life in himself, (AB)so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he (AC)has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this, for (AD)an hour is coming when (AE)all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, (AF)those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
Witnesses to Jesus
30 (AG)“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and (AH)my judgment is just, because (AI)I seek not my own will (AJ)but the will of him who sent me. 31 (AK)If I alone bear witness about myself, my testimony is not true. 32 There is (AL)another who bears witness about me, and (AM)I know that the testimony that he bears about me is true. 33 (AN)You sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34 Not that (AO)the testimony that I receive is from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved. 35 He was a burning and (AP)shining lamp, and (AQ)you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light. 36 But (AR)the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For (AS)the works that the Father has given me (AT)to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, (AU)bear witness about me that (AV)the Father has sent me. 37 And the Father who sent me (AW)has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, (AX)his form you have never seen, 38 and (AY)you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent. 39 (AZ)You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and (BA)it is they that bear witness about me, 40 yet (BB)you refuse to come to me that you may have life. 41 (BC)I do not receive glory from people. 42 But (BD)I know that you do not have (BE)the love of God within you. 43 I have come (BF)in my Father's name, and (BG)you do not receive me. (BH)If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. 44 How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and (BI)do not seek the glory that comes from (BJ)the only God? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, (BK)on whom you have set your hope. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for (BL)he wrote of me. 47 But (BM)if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”

Rivers of Living Water
37 (A)On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, (B)“If anyone thirsts, let him (C)come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, (D)as[a] the Scripture has said, (E)‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of (F)living water.’” 39 Now (G)this he said about the Spirit, (H)whom those who believed in him were to receive, (I)for as yet the Spirit had not been (J)given, (K)because Jesus was not yet glorified.

I Am the Light of the World
12 (A)Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, (B)“I am the light of the world. Whoever (C)follows me will not (D)walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” 13 So the Pharisees said to him, (E)“You are bearing witness about yourself; your testimony is not true.” 14 Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, (F)my testimony is true, for I know (G)where I came from and (H)where I am going, but (I)you do not know where I come from or where I am going. 15 (J)You judge according to the flesh; (K)I judge no one. 16 Yet even if I do judge, (L)my judgment is true, for (M)it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father[a] who sent me. 17 (N)In your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is true. 18 I am the one who bears witness about myself, and (O)the Father who sent me bears witness about me.” 19 They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, (P)“You know neither me nor my Father. (Q)If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” 20 These words he spoke in (R)the treasury, as he taught in the temple; but (S)no one arrested him, because (T)his hour had not yet come.
