John 10:10-18

¹⁰ The thief comes only to steal and ^(A)kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. ^11 (B)I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd ^(C)lays down his life for the sheep. ¹² He who is ^(D)a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and ^(E)leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and ^(F)scatters them. ¹³ He flees because ^(G)he is a hired hand and ^(H)cares nothing for the sheep. ^14 (I)I am the good shepherd. ^(J)I know my own and ^(K)my own know me, ^15 (L)just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and ^(M)I lay down my life for the sheep. ¹⁶ And ^(N)I have other sheep that are not of this fold. ^(O)I must bring them also, and ^(P)they will listen to my voice. So there will be ^(Q)one flock, ^(R)one shepherd. ^17 (S)For this reason the Father loves me, ^(T)because ^(U)I lay down my life that I may take it up again. ^18 (V)No one takes it from me, but ^(W)I lay it down ^(X)of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and ^(Y)I have authority to take it up again. ^(Z)This charge I have received from my Father.”
