John 1:9-14
Christian Standard Bible
9 The true light(A) that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.[a](B)
10 He was in the world, and the world was created(C) through him, and yet the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive(D) him,(E) he gave them the right(F) to be[b] children(G) of God,(H) to those who believe(I) in his name,(J) 13 who were born,(K) not of natural descent,[c] or of the will(L) of the flesh,(M) or of the will of man,[d] but of God.(N)
14 The Word(O) became flesh(P) and dwelt[e] among us. We observed his glory,(Q) the glory as the one and only(R) Son[f] from the Father, full of grace and truth.
