⁵¹ He then added, “Very truly I tell you,^[a] you^[b] will see ‘heaven open,^(A) and the angels of God ascending and descending^(B) on’^[c] the Son of Man.”^(C)

¹² He had a dream^(A) in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.^(B)

⁵⁶ “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open^(A) and the Son of Man^(B) standing at the right hand of God.”

⁴³ An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.^(A)

²⁷ For the Son of Man^(A) is going to come^(B) in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.^(C)

²⁸ “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

⁶² “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”^(A)

¹⁰ Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.^(A)

Ezekiel’s Inaugural Vision

1 In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles^(A) by the Kebar River,^(B) the heavens were opened^(C) and I saw visions^(D) of God.

¹¹ He saw heaven opened^(A) and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.
