⁵¹ And he said to him, “Very truly, I tell you,^[a] you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”^(A)

¹² And he dreamed that there was a stairway^[a] set up on the earth, the top of it reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.^(A)

⁵⁶ “Look,” he said, “I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”^(A)

[[⁴³ Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and gave him strength.^(A)

¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host,^[a] praising God and saying,^(A)

⁶² Jesus said, “I am, and

¹⁰ And just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit descending like a dove upon him.^(A)

²⁷ “For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.^{(A) 28} Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”^(B)

¹⁶ And when Jesus had been baptized, just as he came up from the water, suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw God’s Spirit descending like a dove and alighting on him.^(A)

The Vision of the Chariot

1 In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by the River Chebar, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.^(A)
