41 He first *found his own brother Simon and *said to him, “We have found the (A)Messiah” (which translated means [a]Christ). 42 He brought him to Jesus. When Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of (B)John; you shall be called (C)Cephas” (which is translated [b](D)Peter).
43 (E)On the next day, He desired to go into (F)Galilee, and He *found (G)Philip. And Jesus *said to him, “(H)Follow Me.”

New International Version
41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ).(A) 42 And he brought him to Jesus.
Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called(B) Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter[a]).(C)
Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael
43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip,(D) he said to him, “Follow me.”(E)
