¹⁶ For from ^(A)his fullness we have all received, ^(B)grace upon grace.^[a]

¹⁹ For ^(A)in him all the ^(B)fullness of God was pleased to dwell,

² Through him we have also ^(A)obtained access by faith^[a] into this grace ^(B)in which we stand, and ^(C)we^[b] rejoice^[c] in hope of the glory of God.

⁹ For ^(A)in him the whole fullness of deity dwells ^(B)bodily, ¹⁰ and ^(C)you have been filled in him, who is ^(D)the head of all rule and authority.

⁷ But ^(A)grace was given ^(B)to each one of us ^(C)according to the measure of Christ's gift. ⁸ Therefore it says,

⁹ (^(F)In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into ^(G)the lower regions, the earth?^{[b] 10} He who descended is the one who also ^(H)ascended ^(I)far above all the heavens, that he might ^(J)fill all things.) ¹¹ And ^(K)he gave the ^(L)apostles, the prophets, the ^(M)evangelists, the ^(N)shepherds^[c] and teachers,^{[d] 12 (O)}to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for ^(P)building up ^(Q)the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all attain to ^(R)the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, ^(S)to mature manhood,^[e] to the measure of the stature of ^(T)the fullness of Christ,

⁵ even ^(A)when we were dead in our trespasses, ^(B)made us alive together with Christ—^(C)by grace you have been saved— ⁶ and raised us up with him and ^(D)seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, ⁷ so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable ^(E)riches of his grace in ^(F)kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For ^(G)by grace you have been saved ^(H)through faith. And this is ^(I)not your own doing; ^(J)it is the gift of God, ^9 (K)not a result of works, ^(L)so that no one may boast. ¹⁰ For ^(M)we are his workmanship, ^(N)created in Christ Jesus ^(O)for good works, ^(P)which God prepared beforehand, ^(Q)that we should walk in them.

^23 (A)which is his body, ^(B)the fullness of him ^(C)who fills ^(D)all in all.

Thanksgiving

⁴ I ^(A)give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, ⁵ that in every way ^(B)you were enriched in him in all ^(C)speech and all knowledge—

¹⁷ For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness ^(A)reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
