John 1:15-18

¹⁵(^(A)John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ^(B)‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”) ¹⁶For from ^(C)his fullness we have all received, ^(D)grace upon grace.^[a] ¹⁷For ^(E)the law was given through Moses; ^(F)grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. ¹⁸^(G)No one has ever seen God; ^(H)God the only Son, who^[b] is at the Father's side,^[c] ^(I)he has made him known.
