¹² But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

²⁶ For you are all children^[a] of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

¹⁴ For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children^[a] of God.

3 See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

⁶ And because we^[a] are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.”^[b]
