¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet ^(A)the world did not know him.

^25 (A)O righteous Father, even though ^(B)the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me.

3 See ^(A)what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called ^(B)children of God; and so we are. The reason why ^(C)the world does not know us is that ^(D)it did not know him.

³ By faith we understand that the universe was created by ^(A)the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of ^(B)things that are visible.

²¹ For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach^[a] to save those who believe.

^27 (A)All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son ^(B)except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone ^(C)to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

⁸ None of ^(A)the rulers of this age understood this, for ^(B)if they had, they would not have crucified ^(C)the Lord of glory.

^24 (A)The God who made the world and everything in it, being ^(B)Lord of heaven and earth, ^(C)does not live in temples made by man,^{[a] 25} nor is he served by human hands, ^(D)as though he needed anything, since he himself ^(E)gives to all mankind ^(F)life and breath and everything. ²⁶ And ^(G)he made from one man every nation of mankind to live ^(H)on all the face of the earth, ^(I)having determined allotted periods and ^(J)the boundaries of their dwelling place, ^27 (K)that they should seek God, ^(L)and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. ^(M)Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,

^18 (A)No one has ever seen God; ^(B)the only God,^[a] who is at the Father's side,^{[b] (C)}he has made him known.
