The Eternal Word^(A)

1 In the beginning ^(B)was the Word, and the ^(C)Word was ^(D)with God, and the Word was ^(E)God. ^2 (F)He was in the beginning with God. ^3 (G)All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ^4 (H)In Him was life, and ^(I)the life was the light of men. ⁵ And ^(J)the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not ^[a]comprehend it.

¹⁰ Do you not believe that ^(A)I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you ^(B)I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. ¹¹ Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, ^(C)or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

The Answered Prayer

^12 (D)“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. ^13 (E)And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be ^(F)glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If you ^[a]ask anything in My name, I will do it.
