The Deity of Jesus Christ

1 ^(A)In the beginning was ^(B)the Word, and the Word was ^(C)with God, and ^(D)the Word was God. ^2 [a]He was in the beginning with God. ^3 (E)All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

⁶ yet for us ^(A)there is but one God, ^(B)the Father, ^(C)from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and ^(D)one Lord, Jesus Christ, ^(E)by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

^15 [a]He is the ^(A)image of the ^(B)invisible God, the ^(C)firstborn of all creation. ¹⁶ For ^[b](D)by Him all things were created, ^(E)both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether ^(F)thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—^(G)all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ He ^[c](H)is before all things, and in Him all things ^[d]hold together.
