John 8:6-8

6 This they said testing Him, that they might have cause to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and with His finger wrote on the ground, as though He heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking Him, He lifted Himself up and said unto them, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”
8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.

6 They were using this question as a trap,(A) in order to have a basis for accusing him.(B)
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone(C) at her.”(D) 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
