57 Then the Jewish leaders[a] asked him, “You are not even 50 years old, yet you have seen Abraham?”[b]
58 Jesus told them, “Truly, I tell all of you[c] emphatically, before there was an Abraham, I AM!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the Temple.
