56 (A)Your father Abraham (B)rejoiced (C)that he would see my day. (D)He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?”[a] 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, (E)I am.” 59 So (F)they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”
58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born,(C) I am!”(D) 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him,(E) but Jesus hid himself,(F) slipping away from the temple grounds.

57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
