⁵⁵ Yet ^(A)you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and ^(B)keep His word.

¹⁹ Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?”

Jesus answered, ^(A)“You know neither Me nor My Father. ^(B)If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.”

^44 (A)You are of your father the devil, and the ^(B)desires of your father you want to ^(C)do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and ^(D)does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

²⁸ Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, ^(A)“You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and ^(B)I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me ^(C)is true, ^(D)whom you do not know. ^29 [a]But ^(E)I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”

⁹ Indeed I will make ^(A)those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed ^(B)I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
