⁵⁰ I am not seeking glory for myself;^(A) but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.

⁴¹ “I do not accept glory from human beings,^(A)

⁵⁴ Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself,^(A) my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.^(B)

¹⁸ Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory,^(A) but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

²⁰ For the Father loves the Son^(A) and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these,^(B) so that you will be amazed. ²¹ For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life,^(C) even so the Son gives life^(D) to whom he is pleased to give it. ²² Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,^{(E) 23} that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.^(F)
