³⁴ “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”^(A)

¹⁵ The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty^(A) and have to keep coming here to draw water.”

²⁶ Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me,^(A) not because you saw the signs^(B) I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.
