18 So the Jews sought even more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

19 Then Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do. For whatever He does, likewise the Son does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself does. And He will show Him greater works than these so that you may marvel.

19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself;(C) he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son(D) and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these,(E) so that you will be amazed.
