⁵Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.^(A)

⁵Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

²³Now John^(A) also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because there was plenty of water, and people were coming and being baptized.

²³And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
