^18 (A)The Jews then said to Him, “^(B)What sign do You show us ^[a]as your authority for doing these things?” ¹⁹ Jesus answered them, “^(C)Destroy this ^[b]temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” ^20 (D)The Jews then said, “It took ^(E)forty-six years to build this ^[c]temple, and yet You will raise it up in three days?”
