John 19:39-41

39 Nicodemus(A) (who had previously come to Him at night) also came, bringing a mixture of about 75 pounds[a] of myrrh and aloes. 40 Then they took Jesus’ body(B) and wrapped it in linen cloths(C) with the aromatic spices, according to the burial(D) custom of the Jews. 41 There was a garden in the place where He was crucified. A new tomb was in the garden; no one had yet been placed in it.

New International Version
39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus,(A) the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.[a] 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen.(B) This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.(C) 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid.
