27 Then He *said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour the disciple took her into (A)his own household.
28 After this, Jesus, (B)knowing that all things had already been accomplished, (C)to fulfill the Scripture, *said, “(D)I am thirsty.” 29 A jar full of sour wine was standing there; so (E)they put a sponge full of the sour wine upon a branch of hyssop and brought it up to His mouth.

27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
The Death of Jesus(A)
28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished,(B) and so that Scripture would be fulfilled,(C) Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar(D) was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips.
