15 So they shouted, “(A)Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!” Pilate *said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”
The Crucifixion
16 So he then (B)handed Him over to them to be crucified.
17 (C)They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, [a](D)carrying His own cross, to the place called (E)the Place of a Skull, which (F)in [b]Hebrew is called, Golgotha.

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying his own cross,(C) he went out to the place of the Skull(D) (which in Aramaic(E) is called Golgotha).
