¹³ Therefore when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and ^(A)sat down on the judgment seat at a place called ^[a]The Pavement, but ^(B)in ^[b]Hebrew, Gabbatha.

^17 (A)They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, ^[a](B)bearing His own cross, to the place called ^(C)the Place of a Skull, which is called ^(D)in ^[b]Hebrew, Golgotha.

²⁰ Therefore many of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written ^(A)in ^[a]Hebrew, Latin and in Greek.

¹⁶ Jesus *said to her, “Mary!” She turned and *said to Him ^(A)in ^[a]Hebrew, “^(B)Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher).

⁴⁰ When he had given him permission, Paul, standing on ^(A)the stairs, ^(B)motioned to the people with his hand; and when there ^[a]was a great hush, he spoke to them in the ^[b](C)Hebrew dialect, saying,

¹¹ They have as king over them, the angel of the ^(A)abyss; his name in ^(B)Hebrew is ^[a](C)Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name ^[b]Apollyon.

¹⁶ And they ^(A)gathered them together to the place which ^(B)in Hebrew is called ^[a](C)Har-Magedon.
