John 19:12-16
New American Standard Bible
12 As a result of this, Pilate [a]made efforts to release Him; but the Jews shouted, saying, “(A)If you release this Man, you are not a friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king [b]opposes Caesar!”
13 Therefore when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and (B)sat down on the judgment seat at a place called [c]The Pavement—but (C)in [d]Hebrew, Gabbatha. 14 Now it was (D)the day of preparation for the Passover; it was about the [e](E)sixth hour. And he *said to the Jews, “Look, (F)your King!” 15 So they shouted, “(G)Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!” Pilate *said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

American Standard Version
12 Upon this Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou release this man, thou art not Caesar’s friend: every one that maketh himself a king [a]speaketh against Caesar. 13 When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment-seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. 14 Now it was the Preparation of the passover: it was about the sixth hour. And he saith unto the Jews, Behold, your King! 15 They therefore cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. 16 Then therefore he delivered him unto them to be crucified.
