⁸ More than that, I count all things to be loss because of the surpassing value of ^[a](A)knowing ^(B)Christ Jesus my Lord, ^[b]for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ

³ seeing that His ^(A)divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the ^(B)full knowledge of Him who ^(C)called us ^[a]by His own glory and ^[b]excellence.

⁸ For if these things are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor ^(A)unfruitful in the ^(B)full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁰ For if they are overcome, having both ^(A)escaped the defilements of the world by ^(B)the knowledge of the ^(C)Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and having again been ^(D)entangled in them, then ^(E)the last state has become worse for them than the first.

¹⁸ but grow in the grace and ^(A)knowledge of our ^(B)Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ^(C)To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
