20 I ask not only on behalf of these men,[a] but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their message, 21 so that they may all be one. Just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be one[b] in us, so that the world may believe that you sent me.
22 “I have given them the glory that you gave me, so that they may be one, just as we are one. 23 I am in them, and you are in me. May they be completely one, so that the world may know that you sent me and that you have loved them as you loved me.

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one,(A) Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.(B) May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.(C) 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me,(D) that they may be one as we are one(E)— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity.
