⁵ But now ^(A)I am going to him who sent me, and ^(B)none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ ⁶ But because I have said these things to you, ^(C)sorrow has filled your heart. ⁷ Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for ^(D)if I do not go away, ^(E)the Helper will not come to you. But ^(F)if ^(G)I go, ^(H)I will send him to you. ^8 (I)And when he comes, he will ^(J)convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: ⁹ concerning sin, ^(K)because they do not believe in me; ^10 (L)concerning righteousness, ^(M)because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; ^11 (N)concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world ^(O)is judged.

¹² “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. ¹³ When ^(P)the Spirit of truth comes, ^(Q)he will ^(R)guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but ^(S)whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. ¹⁴ He will ^(T)glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. ^15 (U)All that the Father has is mine; ^(V)therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

⁷ He said to them, ^(A)“It is not for you to know ^(B)times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. ⁸ But you will receive ^(C)power ^(D)when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and ^(E)you will be ^(F)my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and ^(G)Samaria, and ^(H)to the end of the earth.”

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For ^(A)we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but ^(B)the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. ²⁷ And ^(C)he who searches hearts knows what is ^(D)the mind of the Spirit, because^[a] the Spirit ^(E)intercedes for the saints ^(F)according to the will of God.

^16 (A)Do you not know that you^[a] are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

¹⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? ^(B)You are not your own,
