⁶ Jesus *said to him, “I am ^(A)the way, and ^(B)the truth, and ^(C)the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.

²⁵ This man had been instructed in ^(A)the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus, being acquainted only with ^(B)the baptism of John; ²⁶ and ^[a]he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when ^(C)Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him ^(D)the way of God more accurately. ²⁷ And when he wanted to go across to ^(E)Achaia, ^(F)the brothers encouraged him and wrote to ^(G)the disciples to welcome him; and when he had arrived, he greatly ^[b]helped those who had believed through grace, ²⁸ for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, demonstrating ^(H)by the Scriptures that ^(I)Jesus is the ^[c]Christ.

⁹ But when ^(A)some were becoming hardened and were not believing, speaking evil of ^(B)the Way before the multitude, he left them and took away ^(C)the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.

²³ Now about that time there occurred no small disturbance concerning ^(A)the Way.

^4 (A)I persecuted this ^(B)Way to the death, binding and delivering both men and women into prisons,

¹⁴ But this I confess to you, that according to ^(A)the Way, which they call a ^(B)sect, I do serve ^[a](C)the God of our fathers, ^(D)believing everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets;

²² But Felix, having a more accurate knowledge about ^(A)the Way, put them off, saying, “When Lysias the ^[a]commander comes down, I will decide your case.”
