The Answered Prayer

^12 (A)“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

²¹ So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)if you have faith and ^(B)do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, ^(C)but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

¹⁷ And these ^(A)signs will follow those who ^[a]believe: ^(B)In My name they will cast out demons; ^(C)they will speak with new tongues;

The Seventy Return with Joy

¹⁷ Then ^(A)the ^[a]seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

¹⁸ And He said to them, ^(B)“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. ¹⁹ Behold, ^(C)I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

⁶ Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: ^(A)In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” ⁷ And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. ⁸ So he, ^(B)leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.
