9 Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.(A) 10 So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well, 11 for on account of him(B) many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and believing in him.(C)

9 Then a large crowd of the Jews learned He was there. They came not only because of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus the one He had raised from the dead.(A) 10 Therefore the chief priests decided to kill Lazarus also 11 because he was the reason many of the Jews were deserting them[a] and believing in Jesus.
