John 12:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 Therefore Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it [a]for (A)the day of My burial. 8 (B)For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.”
9 The (C)large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not on account of Jesus only, but so that they might also see Lazarus, (D)whom He raised from the dead.

7 “Leave her alone,” Jesus replied. “It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.(A) 8 You will always have the poor among you,[a](B) but you will not always have me.”
9 Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.(C)
