41 These things Isaiah said because (A)he saw His glory, and (B)he spoke about Him. 42 Nevertheless (C)many, even of (D)the rulers, believed in Him, but (E)because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, so that they would not be (F)excommunicated from the synagogue; 43 (G)for they loved the [a]approval of people rather than the [b]approval of God.

42 Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him.(C) But because of the Pharisees(D) they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue;(E) 43 for they loved human praise(F) more than praise from God.(G)
