⁹ Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light.^(A)

³⁵ Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light^(A) just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light,^(B) before darkness overtakes you.^(C) Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.

¹² The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.^(A) So let us put aside the deeds of darkness^(B) and put on the armor^(C) of light.
