⁵¹He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation,

¹³First they ^(A)led him to ^(B)Annas, for he was the father-in-law of ^(C)Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.

¹³and brought him first to Annas, who was the father-in-law of Caiaphas,^(A) the high priest that year.
