²⁶and whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

²⁷She said unto him, Yes, Lord, I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, who should come into the world.

²⁸And having said this, she went away and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calls for thee.

²⁶and whoever lives by believing^(A) in me will never die.^(B) Do you believe this?”

²⁷“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah,^(C) the Son of God,^(D) who is to come into the world.”^(E)

²⁸After she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. “The Teacher^(F) is here,” she said, “and is asking for you.”
