John 1:13-15

13 They were born not of a bloodline, nor of human desire, nor of man’s will, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. We looked upon His glory,[a] the glory of the one and only[b] from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 John testifies about Him. He cried out, saying, “This is He of whom I said, ‘The One who comes after me is above me, because He existed before me.’”

New International Version
13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.(A)
14 The Word became flesh(B) and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory,(C) the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace(D) and truth.(E)

15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
