John 1:1-2

1 In the beginning was the Word,^(A) and the Word was with God,^(B) and the Word was God.^(C) ²He was with God in the beginning.^(D)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

²The same was in the beginning with God.

²⁴God is spirit,^(A) and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

²⁴God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

³Now this is eternal life: that they know you,^(A) the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.^(B)
