Og han svarede: "Nej." 22 Da sagde de til ham: "Hvem er du? For at vi kunne give dem Svar, som have udsendt os; hvad siger du om dig selv?"

20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”
21 They asked him, “Who then? Are you Elijah?”
He said, “I am not.”
“Are you the Prophet?”
He answered, “No.”
22 They said to him then, “Who are you? Tell us so that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say concerning yourself?”
