² Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of those who mutilate the flesh!^[a](A)

¹⁹ Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to wage war against the rider on the horse and against his army.^{(A) 20} And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed in its presence the signs by which he deceived those who had received the brand of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. ²¹ And the rest were killed by the sword of the rider on the horse, the sword that came from his mouth, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

¹⁴ These are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.^{(A) 15} (“See, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and is clothed,^[a] not going about naked and exposed to shame.”)^{(B) 16} And the demonic spirits^[b] assembled the kings^[c] at the place that in Hebrew is called Harmagedon.

⁷ But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the godless.^(A)

² I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will enter into judgment with them there, on account of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations. They have divided my land^(A)
